Career

Professor Müller-Stoy completed his studies in electrical engineering in 1959 at the Technical University of Karlsruhe. Subsequently he conducted research at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) in Teddington, Middlesex, UK, until 1960. In 1964 Professor Müller-Stoy received his doctoral degree from the Technical University of Karlsruhe.
At Siemens AG he was involved in the development of computer systems (1965-1982) and was appointed director of corporate technology in 1982. Professor Müller-Stoy has been retired since 1996.
