Prof. Dr. Hana Milanov
Academic Career and Research Areas
Professor Milanov conducts research at the nexus of literatures in entrepreneurship, international business and social networks. Her interests lie in understanding the evolution of alliances and networks and their role in firm internationalization, opportunity exploitation and firm performance. The research contexts include predominantly U.S. venture capital, biotechnology and high technology industries.
Professor Milanov completed a Master of Science in Management and a PhD in Entrepreneurship at Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. Before joining TUM’s department, Professor Milanov was a Professor of Entrepreneurship at IE Business School in Madrid where she taught in the Masters of International Management, International MBA and Executive MBA programs. From 2014 to 2017 Prof. Milanov served as Senior Vice President for International Alliances and Alumni. Furthermore she is the Academic Director of the Executive MBA in Innovation and Business Creation.
