Prof. Dr. Carsten Intra

Career

Carsten Intra was born in Koblenz (Germany) in 1971. He studied mechanical engineering and then economics, earning his doctorate degree in 2000 at RWTH Aachen. Dr. Intra started his career in 2001 as a Production Engineer with MAN Commercial Vehicles AG. In 2006 he took charge of the Heavy-Duty Trucks business unit. Starting in 2007, he was also responsible for the Standard Bus unit as CEO of MAN operations in Turkey. From 2009 on Prof. Intra held several positions as a member of the Executive Board responsible for different departments within MAN Group and the Commercial Vehicles division of Volkswagen Group.
