Prof. Dr. Dieter Gutekunst

Career

Professor Gutekunst studied political science and law in Würzburg and Speyer. In 1959 he acquired a doctorate in both civil and church law (doctor iuris utriusque). Between 1978 and 1999 he was Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, a unit within the Bavarian Department of the Interior. At the same time he was chairman of the housing committee of the working group of the Ministries of Construction and Housing of the German Federal States.
