Academic Career and Research Areas

Prof. Dr. Min's research focuses on asymptotic statistics, Bayesian statistics, multivariate time series, econometrics, quantification of uncertainties and statistical tests.

Prof. Dr. Aleksey Min studied mathematics at Tashkent State University in Uzbekistan. In 2004, he received his Ph.D. from the Georg-August University in Göttingen. He then moved to the TUM, where the Faculty of Mathematics habilitated him in 2011. Aleksey Min was appointed as adjunct professor at the TUM in 2022.
