Career

Prof. Biagosch studied mechanical engineering und business administration at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), where he graduated in 1984.  From 1980-1984 he worked as development engineer for jet engines at MTU Munich GmbH. In 1984 he started at McKinsey & Company, Inc. where he worked as consultant and partner until 2012. At the end of this period he had been a member of the worldwide Shareholder Committee for 12 years.  Since 2012 Prof. Biagosch has worked as independent entrepreneur, and has supported the following - mainly family-hold - companies in their respective boards: Ashok Leyland and Hinduja Leyland Finance, Wacker Chemie, Luerssen, Aixtron and Athos Service. Since 2013 he has been lecturing at TUM School of Management in Advanced Seminar in Finance and Accounting. He is co-author of „Case Studies in Strategic Management“ published in 2019. In addition he has supported the Deutsches Museum, Munich, starting in 2015 as member of the Governing Board and since 2018 as chairman of the Board of Trustees.
