Academic Career and Research Areas

Dr. Anna Zieleniewska studied Technology of Chemistry at Warsaw University of Technology (Poland), earning her BSc and MSc in 2014. She completed her PhD in Physical Chemistry in 2019 at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg (Germany) in the Guldi group, focusing on charge transfer in organic molecular wires. As a Postdoc at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (2019-2021), she worked under Prof. Garry Rumbles on time-resolved microwave conductivity for photocatalysis. She later joined Prof. Costa’s group at TU Munich as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow (2023-2024) to develop dual devices for light and temperature management. In 2025, she established her independent group at TU Munich as a Liebig Fellow (FCI).
